Birk Sproxton issue launched on November 15!

Prairie Fire Press and McNally Robinson Booksellers present the launch of Birk Sproxton: A Tribute on Friday, November 15 at 7:00 pm in the Travel Alcove at McNally Robinson, Grant Park, Winnipeg.This event celebrates the life and work of poet and novelist Birk Sproxton and the publication of this special issue of Prairie Fire. Born in Flin Flon, Sproxton studied in Winnipeg before moving west to Alberta to teach at Red Deer College.

Hosted by editor Christian Riegel, the event will feature an appearance by Lorraine Sproxton; readings by contributors Kimmy Beach, Alison Calder, and Dennis Cooley; and presentations by David Arnason and Warren Cariou.

Cake and refreshments will be served. Everyone welcome!
